Any reviews on Great Planes YAK 55 3D FlightFlex EP?
Hey, I'm looking at buying a pair of these planes for my brother and I, I used to fly years ago but haven't for a long time (I was only just beginner back then, so still not an "intermediate" flyer). I'm just wondering if anyone has any comments on the [link=http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXKVY7&P=ML]Yak 55 3D[/link] or it's twin sister the [link=http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXJPU8&P=0]U-Can-Do 3D[/link], in particular any comments on the "flight-flex" and how is the fly-ability?
Any info, or recommendations on something else comparable (I probably fly okay but I'm sure my brother will crash a few times) would be great, thanks much!

RE: Any reviews on Great Planes YAK 55 3D FlightFlex EP?
I bought this plane for my son and me to have a tough, cheap plane that would give us some confidence to expand our envelope. I got mad at my son when he flew over the pits and grounded him. He tried to explain how hard it was to control, but I didn't believe him. I then had one of the best pilots at our club try it, and he found it almost unflyable. I had to laugh - and apologize to my son for getting so mad - when the expert said "Quique couldn't fly this thing!".
I would strongly advise against getting this plane. I bought some carbon fiber rods to make the fuse stiffer. Haven't tried that, but I might just strip off the electronics and go to another plane.
