just bought and flew the new Vapor
Have to say, its a VERY well built plane. I say this because my longest flight is about 20 seconds inside my house. I DO NOT reccomend this plane for beginners planning to fly indoors unless its in a gym. The plane has lots of torque and i hovered it for a second actually . Its also got very touchy throttle and directional controls which is good for bad situations but not optimal for new pilots. I have to say PZ did a very good job with this plane. I just wish i could get it to a bigger space. While they say "micro flight" and "fly in your garage" it better be a fricken big garage b/c i have a 4 way stretched 2 car garage, its not quite enough... they probably mean an airplane garage (hangar) lol
im giving it a perfect 10/10
Pros: relativly cheap, very well built, durable, fun little sucker, great torque, great servos, flys fast and has a quick charge time
Cons: tricky for new pilots if youre not in a gym, catch a gust of wind (fan/ac/etc) and hold on to your hat
best of luck

RE: just bought and flew the new Vapor
I'm going to see if one of the local hobby shops has one in stock tomorrow. Looks like a lot of fun. I have a pretty big living room with high ceilings. Hopefully it will be something to fly around when it's 112 outside all week. If the living room doesn't work, the huge shop at work will be perfect.
I agree that it doesn't look like a beginners plane. Learning to fly is hard enough without worrying about crashing into the furniture or the dog.

Picked mine up this afternoon. The key is throttle management I think. It may not go very fast but in a an enclosed space it doesn't take much to be going way too fast. This thing will fly extremely slow so just throttle back. Still, the bigger the room, the better.
I have zero experience with 3-channel planes so that's a little weird. I keep trying to steer it on the ground with the left stick.
It also stalls pretty easy with too much elevator input. Probably not good as somebody's first airplane but a lot of fun for a more experienced pilot when they aren't at the field flying "real" airplanes.

I tried flying mine in the living room for the first time. It is bigger than the 15x15 minimum that the manual recommends and has a vaulted ceiling. I still don't think it is enough space. Even at low throttle settings, it covers ground pretty quickly. The shop at work was great though and I imagine a gym or someplace similar would be nice. I tried it outside and even a light breeze makes it difficult to fly.
Guys over in the electric forum seem to love it but, to be honest, I'm not too happy with it. It just doesn't fill the role as a fun little living room flyer like I had envisioned. It also seems really fragile. Mine is intact still but I can easily see the structure getting broken or the covering ripped. Maybe this isn't the plane for someone used to more traditional aircraft. Hopefully the LHS will take it back or work out some sort of deal like a trade.
