Lived in New Haven, IN, until I was 18 and joined the USAF. Lived North, East, West, and finally settled in the South! Mobile, AL, to be exact. It took me a while to find heaven on earth, but i finally found it. BTW, Hell finally froze over, and it's in Minot, ND !

Also in the USAF and have been stationed here at Pope AFB, NC for the last 9 years. I live in Raeford, NC just about 40 miles or so away from the original poster of this thread.

The first 24 in SoCal the last 13 in Iowa and lived and flown in Tx. and Ok. They all have their own unique charm (thats what polite people say to keep from offending.) I actually loved each for different reasons.

Currently in NW ohio. Grew up and lived in Tucson Arizona for 37 years where you fly in the winter, build in the summer (indoors w/ ac cranked), and the chance of flying your plane into a saguaro cactus exists.
