Default Adding side and down thrust when the engine is on stand offs

I have this new question:

How to add right and down thrust when is not built in fuse and the gas engine will be mounted on stock stand offs ?

You think that adding 3 big diameter washers behind the top-left stand off, 1 big diameter washer behind top-right stand off and 1 big diameter washer behind the top-left stand off will work and the firewall will not get any damage ?

Anyway, in this case the engine will not sit right on the other end of the stand offs.

Any advices ?

Thank you !!!

PS I think I will try flying it with no side and down thrust. In the meantime is my first gasser and the biggest plane I have, so I have some worries .....

assuming you mean "Bottom-Left" as in your diagram, yes, that will work.

If they do not sit right, you can try other things for shims, or even make some out of plywood that you can sand to the proper thickness.

I make up a tapered shim that is almost the same size as the fire wall. I also make my own stand offs so I can make them any size I like. You can also buy stand offs with different lengths. Most people I know just use washers like your photo.
