RC flying on Oahu?
To the Hawaiian RC Pilots!
I'm moving to Oahu around March 2015! Yippee!
Paradise open enrollment for non-enlisted is full and closed.
Are there other sites to fly large scale stuff? Or, should I sell it before moving?
Just finished a brand new Krill Katana this year, and only logged 17 flights. This was from the last time out......still getting a feel for it. Hoped to get more flights in, but, snow came early this year!

Nope just a bunch of guys flying LOL It's a grass field but there is a somewhat of a runway, hard to explain but you can fly if you want 40% and even a turbine has flown there. go back into the thread and look at what island flyer posted

Ok, looks better with pants on! lol
Snow sucks! lol 10 inches on runway in 1.5 days.
Other days, no mood to fly foamy in front of house....had a week of 5*F temp.

Snow is only pretty to look at......but gets old REALLY fast....(Like, within 5 winters, moving up from Bay Area)
Unless you like to ski, snowboard, or ride snowmobiles...other that that.......keep it on greeting cards, and get my ass out of here!
