1st Ultra Sport 40
Hi all,
After being out of the hobby a few years, I have been back at it a full year now. Been to many fun flys last season learning and starting again this season. Last weekend went down to a great swap meet in Eagen MN and picked up a couple more great aircrafts.
The main reason to chime in is one of the planes is my 1st ultra sport forty (always have wanted one) and it's mostly foam and plastic. It is from great planes (that's what the sticker on it says) with retracts.
Has one one seen one or flown one like this lately. Just courious on the flight charitistics before I maiden it this weekend, put a evalution .60 into the the ultra.
Thanks for the info on thiswebsite RCU.

I wanted to go to that Swap meet, but missed it
Sounds like you have the old Ultra Sport ARF. Not many of them around any more. I have not flown the ARF, but I have heard it flies as well as the kit. If so, you've got a damn good airplane there!

and a very nice field box with 12 vt battery new hobbico panal with lights and ignighter with charger and a few plugs , same low cost under 10 bucks also a very good Futaba At6s radio less than 20.00 -a lot less
Had a heck of a time lots of food and good company and yea sold a few things - Be back next time got some good info out on RC Skydivers
Will make a few Jumps at Grassfield -Fly and feed providing weather is ok - new style chute will be shown

Nice find! It's going to fly pretty similar to your Escapade you have hanging on the wall, but it'll fly lighter, faster and much straighter than that Escapade. If you want to practice pattern/IMAC it's the perfect plane to start with. The wingloading should also be quite a bit less so it'll make it a bit more fun to fly at slow speed and easier to land, but you'll have to weigh it as I don't recall the ARF weight. You'll like it and I'm almost certain you'll retire the Escapade after flying the US 40.

Paynesville has an excellent field!
Just take Hwy 23 north. Cross under the Railroad bridge and take the second left (hwy 33)
Go about a mile and you'll see the field on the right
This weekend doesn't look good for me. I'll be in the cities, but I'll be helping my step daughter move
