Default Brushless motors and pusher props

Morning all,

Do you have to use a pusher prop on a brushless motor for a lingcat etc.? Or can you use a normal prop and reverse the rotation? Will this throw off the thrust line or cause a torque roll or any unwanted thrust issues?

Use a normal prop, and remember to put the prop on with the front (curved airfoil) of the prop facing forward in the direction of flight. No need for a reverse rotation prop with the brushless motors ability to operate in either direction without considering timing issues[8D]
The only time you would need a reverse rotation prop with brushless motors, is when you are doing a scale model with counter rotating props, P-38 is a classic example.
