Default wattage 370 gearbox change????

I just bought my first electric and it is the Wattage Livewire, I have heard that the gearbox has problems stripping the gears but can be replaced with the GWS gearbox, but which one?
thanks

Hi Steve,

The stock Wattage Live Wire uses a Speed 300 motor geared at 4.78:1 with a 10x4.5 prop.

The equivalent GWS gearbox would be the EPS-300C (BS) 4.43:1 sold at AeroMicro.

GWS also makes a 10x4.7 prop that will fit right on the EPS-300C drive shaft.

Good luck!
