Default inflight load verses on the ground

I have a set up that pulls 52 amps on the ground. Is their a percentage drop when the plane is flying? My speed controler is rated at 50 amps. My mabe some one out their has done a test. Thanks Dan

You might get away with it, since some props will "unload" in flight and amp draw might drop a few %... but I'd say you are flying far too close to the wind... if you want to draw ~50A. a 75A ESC is a good insurance.... I always allow 20% margin!
