I just put one in my Phat Larry from ne sailplanes. Boy, is that a nice engine! It is using a 1050 Mh 8 cell pack with a 3:1 MP gear reduction and a 10/7 prop. It just screams.
I have not flown it yet, but 3/4 power is all it is going to need for take off. NE sailplaines have a lot of selection based on your skill level.

I have one in a NSP AcroPhat and it rocks on 3s2p e-tech 1200's. 9x6 apc.
full throttle pulls 16amps. I usually fly about half throttle. It will do any manuver in the book.

I strapped one on a GWS Slow Stick. Faster than the original motor, but it will still slow down. Running an APC 10x7 and 8 KAN 1050s. Great little motor for $50.
