Can I use the KV ratings as a guide for motor replacement
I would like to replace a T-Motor AS2216 KV1250 with a similar KV rated motor from a different manufacturer? If not, what are the specs I should look for?

If you get the same size motor (in your case I believe the stator size is 22mmx16mm... approx. 2834 overall and perhaps 65-72g?) with the same Kv, it should cope with much the same power and run the same prop.
