Default motor to esc extension

The distance between my brushless motor and the ESC make it necessary to make up an extension to facilitate installation. Would this cause any problems ? I would appreciate any comments. Thanks

Extending the motor wires to the ESC presents no problems. Use reasonable gauge sizes to minimize any losses. It is only when you extend the battery-to-ESC wires that you can run into problems (damaging voltage spikes) if they are too long. Even in that case, you don't need to worry about just a few extra inches.

Thanks for your info. This makes me feel happier as this will make a much neater installation. Grumpy
