Default Changing Shaft in Himax HA2025 4200

The shaft is broken. i dont think that it will be covered under warranty (about 6 months old) It took very little to break, seemed brittle.
So I would like to take it appart to try and change the shaft.Has anyone ever done this?
How does a person get it apart? If i could get inside the motor without damaging it, I think the shaft could be pressed out and a new one pressed in.
Any info is appreciated.
Thanks, Gmax

I know this is an old tread, but I was wondering if you ever received any help with this? I'd like to replace the bearings in my HA2025-4200......
