OK, I have a motor rated at 1700 kvm. Should I go with 11.1 volts or 7.4 v? for elect. plane weighing three lbs, 43" wingspan?

Thanks for any help. Ron

What motor, prop, ESC? What is the rated watts the motor can handle?

A 3 pound plane should be around 350 watts or so for every day flying. More is always better .
