Smile robarts retract binding

I am having problems getting the gear to retract. replaced with new actuator new pin and brass fitting plus new trunion. the actuator moves up approx 1/4 " and stops. are there any adjustments I should check. Could the problem be with the grove when in the gear down lock position. I did break the trunion during hard landing. AC IS THE TOP FLIGHT 86.5 SUPER MARINE SPITFIRE.

THANKS FRANK

Look very carefully to ensure the retract is mounted flat.

Remove it from its mount and see if it binds

Thanks for quick reply. upon removing the gear i found the trunion pin tight, and the pin/torx holding the bass cam roller was at the high point of the side frame. When I removed the trunion pin the actuator worked all the way, up and down.
