Atlas brush less motor looses power

Atlas brush less motor looses power
I am having the follow problem. After about 30 to 45 seconds the brushless motor will loose power and the ESC Atlas BEC is hot
Below is a list of my configuration
ESC = Atlas Black 45amp BEC
Motor = Atlas 40 Sport AM2921 /08
LIPo = 2200mah 30C 3S cell These are brand new
Airplane is a Scat Cat 500
I have also tried a 3300mah battery and it does the same thing
Any ideas would be appreciated
