I gotta start over on the F-18. I gave mine to a friend last night who went crazy when he saw it. No big I already got #2 cut out and ready to glue. Glad you like the tribute. If you want to have a go at building w/ blue foam RCME has a free set of bipe plans this month.[X(]

Nope, I'll stick with the E-flight kits. They are relatively cheap, and come with all the hardware and the gearbox. It would be nice if they dumped the geared motor that comes with the kit.

I'm hoping that the Tensor 4d will be in before Christmas. I'm hooked on this electric stuff.

They are waayy easier than all the composite work you are doing for your speed stuff now. PM me and I will share. BTW I scored a Lanier Dominator this weekend.

I got the new Great Planes Elctrifly Ammo Brushless motor and it doesn't even compare to my Eflite 370 or the 400. Draws 13 amps on a 6.6:1 with a 12x6 prop on a Tribute. On 3 cells it is sick. These are hands down the best brushless motor out for a gearbox. Bye the way I have two extra for sale if anyone is interested.
