Default AXI 2826-10 on 6s

Has anyone out there put 20V. or more to an AXI 2826-10 with success?AS long as the amps are kept under control-why not? What switching frequency would you recomend?Just looking for a little more speed for a pusher jet I designed a while back.

As you increase voltage, you increase RPMs. Even though you'd think the can and centrifugal force would hold the magnets together, I've read about slung magnets in these motors before when people pushed them even just a little beyond the specs.

Also, even if you do keep the Amps in check, you're still running twice as much power through the motor. You're still going to run into heat and cooling issues.

I've been talking with Kress-Jets and that is the motor they are looking to put into their RK-720E.

Did Kress mention how many cells and how many amps?

As long as your total power input does not exceed the manufacturers recomendation (by too much) you should be ok. That means if you up the volts you may have to drop the amps to maintain the power at an acceptable level otherwise you will put too much heat into the motor.
