Default multi motor setup (the best why??)

What would be the best why to setup 4 motors? I would like to use the following motor found [link=http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXLWU1&P=0]here[/link]. My question would be should I setup 2 motors to 1 speed controller, 1 motor to 1 speed controller, or all 4 motors to 1 speed controller? If it is not 1 motor to 1 speed controller, what amp speed controller would I need? Thanks.

With a brushless motor you must use 0ne esc per motor. It has to do with how a BL motor is commutated. After that you can connect the ESCs in any combination you choose. If you want better ground handling or wild aerobatics "Y" the two in the same side together (there are some other options if you have an 8 channel or bete computer radio). I'm about to start a B24 and will have the two inboard motors linked and the two outboard. That way if one combination fails, the other should provide enough power for a controlled landing.

I have a 9C so I would assume that you would link the outboards to a slider and the inboards to the standard throttle. Is this correct?

I'm not familiar with Futaba radios, but that sounds right. You would, of course, slave the slider to the main throttle stick so the two would operate together under normal flight conditions. Maybe assign the slave function to a separate switch. That assumes you plan to operate one pair of motors with the other shut down. If you don't plan on doing that, then just plug both escs into the throttle channel via a "Y" harness.

If you can. Tell us what type of 4 engine plane you want to power. B-17...... b-24..ETC.
It makes a HUGE difference if the plane has LOTS of vertical stabilizers and area on them.

P-38 is small compared to a P-61. P-61's fly well on 1 engine.
