Jeti-Hacker speed control
Does anybody know if I can use
Jeti Model-Hacker
6-16 N
MASTER 70-3P opto Speed control with a 6 Cell Lipo battery pack?
If anybody knows please advise. If I cannot use this then can you reccomment a proper speed control to
buy?

The current version of the Jeti 70 Amp "plus" Opto ESC is good to 6S LiPoly. Yours an older version, from before LiPolys were common. It's rated for up to 16 NiCd cells which is roughly 5S LiPoly.

Can I take l cell out of the 6 cell pack and then it would be OK to use the speed controller? or should I just buy the newer version.

You may well be better off getting a truly Lipo compatible ESC - the older version may not have the correct LVC for a 5s or 6s Lipo pack, nor the capability to program the correct LVC in there.
