Do I need a bec
Can any one help me I have a edf jet using a 3 cell lipo and want to use a 4 cell lipo with a larger esc. The plane weighs 22 oz without battery. Can anyone tell me do I have to use a bec? It has 3 servos one for steering? Thanks, Joe

Then yes, you will need one. You can't run your radio equipment directly from the high-voltage flight pack. You could get a Castle CC BEC for around $25 at most hobby shops or online, but that's overkill for your plane. I would probably get a smaller, cheaper one, either from headsuprc.com or from hobbycity.com.
