That is going to be a BIG prop on 3s, do you have enough room for a 13x6 prop?
Yes a 60 amp ESC will work.

they list a 11 x 5.5 prop for this motor and they show 48 amps draw in the specs, so 60 amps esc should be fine.

Hi,

can I barge in here with a similar question? I’m converting a twin .25 Glow model to electric. The motors i’m Planning to use are 2 Tornado Thumper V3 3542/05 1250KV. They are rated for a 30 amp ESC. I want to run these off a single 5000 mah Lipo and am trying to figure out if i should run them through 2x 30/40 amp ESCs wired into 1 lipo or two motors into 1 80 amp ESC wired into the lipo. I want to avoid any posibility of 1 engine cutting out before the other. This is my first electric setup for a twin so I’m a novice at this. Any helpful advice on which option is best, how to hook it al up or indeed how to best handle twin electrics in general would be most welcome

thanks all. Phil
