RE: supertigre power or not?
Yes, I reviewed the Supertigre .10 and was not impressed. If you need a 10x6 a Suppo A2217K/8 is a good cheap solution:
10.7v, 20.80A, 222W, 9030rpm, 51.3mph, 1135g, 39.37oz, 5.11g/W
I don't know exactly what your requirements are, but obviously if you need more speed than this, you need to go for a more powerful motor.

RE: supertigre power or not?
the su-31 calls for the electricfly .10 with 35 amp esc 1500mah battery and 10-7e prop is the supertigre .10 close to this motor, was going to try st.10, 30amp esc and 1800mah 11.1 battery

RE: supertigre power or not?
My concern about the Rimfire .10 is the same as my concern about the ST .10... both are over-rated as far as their power handling capabilities go... I found that the ST .10 is good for only about 200W.....the Rimfire .10 says 325W continuous... yeh, right!

RE: supertigre power or not?
well if there about the same I will be ok for power at about 1/2 to 2/3 the price of electricfly and my local dealer carries the supertigre line. Plug and go is that i'm looking for, not much time to solder and buy part to match difference products

RE: supertigre power or not?
the plane wt should be 27 to 31oz with a 10x6 gws 11.1v you got 36.34 oz thrust which should be ok, i'm not sure on temp in your chart the red shows max but 92 you give smoke. but whats the normal range, or safe zone so to speak? P.S. thanks for all the information

RE: supertigre power or not?
If a motor gets to 60C by the end of my five short bursts as a series, that is as hot as I'd ever go. A moderate length series (about 80 seconds running in total) with the 10x6 got it to 49C so that is just okay in my book.
