Default stopping the prop

Does the esc stop the prop at the same position every time the brake is activated. If not how can I stop a non folding prop in the same position (vertical) ech time I shut the motor down?

I don't think you can... the ESC Brake simply stops the motor in whatever position it happens to be in......say you have a 14-pole outrunner... every pole is equivalent so you have one chance in 14 of the prop stopping where you want it.

Thanks,
I was afraid of that. Guess I will look at folding props or ducted fans.
