Your best bet is to go with an Italian made engine. You kinda get what you pay for in this hobby, the reliabilty and performance is better, if your planning on racing on a competitive level.

Ive used it, alot of people on here have used it and everybody that has used it will back it
Excellent power delivery through out the rev range. So good that im buying the hot mod version for my truggy.

If you want an engine of only the ones mentioned, the Novarossi P3 would be my first choice hands down. I agree with the P5XLT idea but if cash flow is a problem, the P3 derives from all the same parts as the P5 except with a 3 port sleeve. In fact, the P3 is very close to the Nitrotec .21 that is made for Losi and that is a very good performing engine. You can use various pipes with the P3 and get great results. Some of the more popular pipes are the 9901/21, 9853/21, 2084/21, 2013 and JP4. These are all pipes I have tested on the stock and modified P3 and the performance and runtimes are on par with most other engines. Definitely a great bang for the buck engine especially for under $160. If amain sells out, I can get you one as I am a Novarossi dealer and have engines in stock and more on the way.
