Default Sportwerks .26 = Losi M26SS ???

Anyone,

I have a Sportwerks .26 V2 and like the engine. It has been good to me and I would like to keep it around. Does anyone know if the Losi M26SS engine sleeve and piston will work in the Sportwerks .26 V2?

Thanks!

Default RE: Sportwerks .26 = Losi M26SS ???

I had a couple SW 26's, and have had several Mach 427's.. I always heard they are the same - though some people say the 427 is actually a .27 - others though say it's the same as SW, XTM, Losi 26, etc.. They all ARE SH built engines. I can't give you a definitive answer, but I would say the chance that pistons and sleeves would interchange among all of them is pretty high. I'd imagine too that you can get a new M26SS really cheap, so just throw the SW carb on it.. And head too if you like blue better ha ha...
