Transmission is locking with redcat buggy
Purchased this buggy last week. It was working fine but now all of the sudden the wheels lock during operation and forces the engine to die out. Not sure if it is a clutch problem or something else. Has anyone else had this problem before? and how should we fix that? THANKS!!

Hi Elias, Welcome to the forum.
Although many of the Redcat buggy's will have generic initial fault finding routines, it would still be useful to know a specific model name. Creating a signature with it would work.
From your symptoms (wheels locking) it could be any number of things in the drive train. First simple thing I might look for was debris in the center differential or drive pinion gear. Taking it apart is a good way to get to know how your model works and to find the problems simultaneously.
FYI: a clutch is usually a one way device, in that it can drive the clutch bell, but the clutch bell will not drive it or stop it.
A complete failure of the clutch could lock it up, and that would not allow the car/engine to stop without stalling.
Good luck.
