depends on several things.. if your popping plugs you may be running too hot, wrong plug, worn rod or main bearing, bad fuel,, many things .. For a start use some good fuel.. see how you go from there

Like what above said. MANY factors come into play when glow plugs die. If you have already replaced 2 so far, that is quite normal during the break-in time for an engine. Almost everyone has gone through a few plugs during break-in. Once the engine is tuned right (not running too hot or lean), and have good fresh fuel running through your engine, then the glow plugs should last you a very long time. I havnt had to replace mine for quite some time now (around 3-4 months now).
