Hello guys.

I Bought one Nitro Evader BX 3 weeks ago.

Last sunday I was running my buggy fine and sundly stoped to run the engine.

I've cleaned carburator, engine and glow. but nothing happen now. The engine not turns

Only 3 weeks with a RC and this thing happen SUX.

I Live in Brazil. Can someone help me?

Remove the backplate and cooling head - you should be able to see what is wrong with the engine.

guessing you seized the engine , but it looks likethe piston moved a little from the pics . Try to manually turn it over at the fly wheel .

Yeah, if the con-rod has snapped the piston would still be able to move. Try moving the piston through a complete stroke and have a look at the con-rod, 1-way and crankshaft by removing the backplate. [sm=thumbup.gif]

Dang ! Did you forget the air filter ? That sleeve looks pretty scratched up . That will for sure cause problems and loose compression . Time for a new piston , sleeve , and rod . Make sure to clean that engine out good and check the bearings to make sure none of the dirt got into them .

I Used the air filter, but without air oil.
Very strange
My car only turns with accelerator pushed to the end. If I release a little the engine stops.

If the connecting rod has snapped can you replace just that or is a complete rebuild required? I think i have the same problem. (With out the scratches on the sleeve tho.)

I'd suggest you just buy a new engine - i don't think it is worth replacing the piston, sleeve and con-rod in a budget engine. You could probably pick up a decent OS for just a tad more $ than the price of the replacement parts.

I agree , after thinking this was a small block and a budget engine . You can get some good .12 - .15 engines for a good price .

If the rod is broken it more than likely did some damage to the piston skirt .

Yeah, i had a con-rod snap in one of my engines - took a nice chunk out of the bottom of the sleeve!

Your engine is busted. The pictures says it all. That big scratch in teh liner is NOT supposed to be there.
You screwed up by not using air filter oil. Expensive lesson learned.
