engine dies help needed
Hi Guys
I have a problem with the engine in my savage 25.
the engine starts easily, idles without fault, and accelerates no problem. But when it reaches top noise it dies, a few blips of the throttle and off it goes again only to reach top speed and die again.
any help much appreciated.

Sounds as if the high speed needle is a tad on the lean side. Richen it up 1/4 turn and try again. If it actually gets worse then try leaning it instead.

I would try to get a temp reading on the heat sink and the block, I have that problem when my engine overheats. IF temp.isn't any trouble then i would work on the needle, your fuel and compression can also play a factor.DBABER21

i agree with snowblind. its cutting out because its starving for fuel on the top end. richen up the hsn a little.

YES I HAVE A RC LIGHTING CAR WITH A VX 16 BUT WHEN I GO FAST THE ENGINE DIES BUT WHEN I PULL THE START IT WORKS BACK AGAIN CAN SOMEBODY CAN I FIX THATTELL ME WHATS WRONG AND THE OTHERTHING WHEN I GO FAST THE CAR GOES ALL CRAZY LIKE IT GOES TO THE SIDE WELL DONT KNOW WHATS WRONG AND HOW

i would say give it some more fuel with the high speed needle and if it's "out of the box" or new aline every thing like your toe front and back camber and zero your steering
the other thing do you have expanding tires if so could be rubbing? or something

all i am saying is simply make a proper thread ofr the question instead of trying to sidetrack everyone elses threads, its not that hard dude, and i am not he only one that has said stop hijacking threads
