I run either McCoy or Novarossi hot plugs on 30% Byron and get at least 1 ½ gallons out of them.

Those MC-8 plugs will do the job. I ran those in my D28 5 Port Truggy engine with Byrons 25% race blend. If you get the chance, try out the new STS S21T engine. It is awesome.

RE: STS Engines
I am now running the Mugen MBX5T prospec. The S21T w/Dynamite 007 HT pipe runs like a champ in this truggy. It has tremendous power and speed in my truck. I cleared all jumps with ease. A lot of people are surprised to learn that this engine is under $200. It will perform with all other high end motors. We are running a series at our track and I won the sportsman truggy main. My times were relatively close to the experts. This engine is awesome. You can get them at www.nitrocountryrc.com
I was wondering how well the STS pipes work with their engines. Does anyone have any experience with their pipes?

I run a STS 0702 pipe on my STS 30 it worked good and the 0702 pipe works good on my Mach 427

RE: STS Engines
I just ordered the STS .21 pipe for my S21T. I'm running a Dynamite 007ht now and it gets 10min on 150cc truggy tank without any carb restrictors. If the STS pipe can make any improvements, it will be totally insane. I really recommend this engine.

Projectzen has the STS carb's and the carb on the 21's are the same as the one on the 30 or try the place that BB linked to.

Q: What is the factory setting for STS engines?
A: The suggested setting to start with is around;
.12
High Speed needle 4 turns out from the end
Low Speed needle 4 turns out from the end
Mid Range needle Flush with the housing
Idle 0.5mm open
.21-.30
LSN 4.5 turns out from the end
HSN 3 turns out from the end
Idle 0.5mm open
My 21B is 2 1/8 turns on the HSN and 4 on the LSN
taj, try the other place. (the one the jaywax posted)

Break it in with all the shims then remove the Alum. one and you should good to go.
The copper ring that comes with the plug should be on the plug when you put it in, so it should be like this when you put the plug in
If it comes with two copper washers (rings) only use one, these help with making a seal where the plug meets the head.
Hope all goes well for you. Break-in is a PAIN.

RE: STS Engines
Engine Update:
I have been running the STS S21T for about three gallons. I initially had it in my buggy, but it was too much engine for me. I switched it over to my new Mugen MBX5T and it has been superior. At first I had the S21T matched with a dynamite 007ht pipe, because I thought I may not have enough bottom end. It ran great with that particular pipe. I starting to feel that the engine was not getting up to full rpms with that pipe, so I switched to the STS 0403 racing tuned pipe. This was a perfect match. I get excellent high rpms, better fuel mileage, and did not loose a ounce of bottom end. I can run a truggy 150cc tank of fuel and get almost 10 minutes with no carb inserts. This new S21T matched with the 0403 pipe is a lethal combination. Since I have been running the S21T in my MBX5T, I have place first in our summer series race and second in our regular club race. I may be able to post some video of last night races later. A guy was filming and he usually post the videos a couple of days later.
P.S.
For any one who may be skeptical of review, here is a link to the one of the race results. (I'm John Harris/Jaywax)
