Sounds like a half-tank leaning issue. I believe it is something to do with insufficient back pressure in the tank, and this causes less fuel to be forced into the engine - effectively leaning it out. This is why it stalls at full throttle...
Re-tuning (richen up slightly) when the tank is half full (or half empty ) should prevent the stalling, but would be a pain in the butt doing every 1/2 tank. A different tank should fix the problem if you can find one which fits your car (i believe this was a problem with one of the first Savages, and the solution was to swap the tank).

i have tried that already richening up the mixture i do not have good top end.when i tried i thought it was ok but after refueling for the 2nd time still the same problem.could it be an air leak?? please help[]
