Default Thunder tiger .28 pro ajustments tuning ???

i have a thunder tiger .28 pro in my buggy. i bought the buggy used. the engine has good compression. when i try to start it it will cut off if i remove the igniter. once i get it running it doesn' really respond to my throttle inputs it willeither cut off when i pull the throttle or hesitate and then take off. i think the needles need to be adjusted but i cant find any base settings for this motor. i do know this motor comes stock on a few schumacher r/c's. help please!!!

Base settings for the TTr.28 (according to the Havoc manual) :
Idle gap is 0.25-0.5mm
Lsn is 0.4mm out from flush
Hsn is 2.5-3 turns from closed
BTW i don't own one but i'm a member at the Schumacher forum.Hope this helps.

Its the size of the opening in the carb when the throttle is closed. Also sounds like your too rich.

6.5 on LSN is wrong, its 3.5 on thr RTR but on the pro version it's 1. Call ace hobby, they'll tell you 1-866-322-7121. Ace is the US dustributor for TTR.

6.5 on the low end was supposed to be a printing error and that being said my pro 28 wouldnt prime till it was 5 turns out. so i would say start at 3.5 turns and keep riching it up till it will prime (if it is way to lean it will not pime the fuel up to the carb) then start the car the idle will sound really fast and wierd so richen low speed needle till it idles properlie. this is just what i have found with my experiance with this motor hope it helps
