Default sts 30 OWB

I have an sts 30 in my revo and it has about 1.5 gallons on it and today my OWB started to slip, so I said ok I will take it out and see if my LHS has any....so I opened the motor and the OWB is stuck inside the little air mixer thing that the OWB sits in.

Is there a way to get it out or is it just not supposed to come out and you have to buy the whole little air/fuel mixer thing.

IDK what to call the "air/fuel mixxer thing" that the OWB sits in so dont laugh

are you talking about the starter shaft? if so it dosn't mix fuel or air. and yes the OWB dose come off somtime they get stuck. since your running a revo you can get a bump box for it, and you should so you don't have to mess with pull/roto starts again.

you have to get a gel cell charger, but thats only $10 but you can go for months with out charging a gel cell, I got over 250 start and it wasn't even starting the fade. and thats when I was having problums with my old engine and it was hard to start.

I may consider the starter box idea. I have had OWB problems in the past too and have spent over $60 just buying OWB, so maybe I should go to a starter box.

Will cost like $35 for another BB kit.
and somewhere around $75 for the starter box stuff.

There is a performance gain going to a starter box insnt there.

I'm not sure which starter bow will work on a revo, but I know you can use a starter for buggies, you might want to check out the traxxas mt forum and see if you could get some more ifno there.
