Will a leaky gasket on a .28 axial cause a bad tune?
the question above.. i just got my .28 axial out for some fun after sitting for about 4 months.. when running it after about 3/4 of top speed the car will just die off like its running lean the thing is its acting more like there isnt any fuel at all..i noticed that it was spitting raw fuel and oil out the gasket and its shredded.. i may answer my own question but would a big exhaust leak cause the exhaust not to create sufficent pressure to supply the fuel for high speed running.. the car isnt overheating and i doubt after 5 min running that the head gets over 180...im going to replace the gasket tommorrow but i just want to know what the deal is here...any ideas?

Yes, I can see where a large leak could cause the symptoms you describe, but it usually causes higher temps due to a lean condition. Fix the leak and let us know if it cures it.
