Here in Europe you can sometimes score a Nosram for cheaper than an LRP.. Nosram (a British company more specialized in electric I think..) is owned by LRP I believe, so you pay a bit more mark-up for the LRP name and marketing..

Is the Nosram .30 new too, or has that been out for a while and if so how good of a motor is it compared to the .28?

For the price please ask the LRP Distributor of your country,

thank you.

Just wanted to share the information.

I am going to say that chances are this new 30 is not going to match the Italian 28's...most likely its goig to be a low timed sport motor with big displacement.... calling it a race motor when its not even a legal displacement as well that it is a Pull only tells me this is not going to set the world on fire....A Picco,Nova or RB is still going to outclass this motor....

[link=http://www.msuk-forum.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=49129&st=0]Here[/link] is a video and a little info from a guy in the UK that has the LRP30 in a Havoc.
And [link=http://www.the-border.com/home.php?cat=561]here[/link] is a shop in Netherlands that is selling the motors...thought I could throw that out there if there are some people that are impatient and want the motor NOW .

The British pound is as low as ever, and you can get the LRP 30 here for 130 Pounds...
www.m-k-racing.com
Try www.ebay.co.uk too. The Nosram version is also out...
Other shops that might have it:
www.jespares.com
www.modelsport.co.uk
www.apexmodels.com

WOW that motor looks awfully, impressive judging from that video, it pulls hard and sounds very nice.... I will definitely have to give this engine a try in my basher Truggy... If this thing can perform like some of the older original STS 30's it would be awesome...or even better yet outperform the early STS 30's...... Any LRp engine i have modified has made very good gains over stock, so this 30 might have some potential as a modified big bore basher engine for me.. I love instant Pizza cutter tires !

well supertib, looking at that video, I am impressed with that LRP .30 engine and man I bet it will be even better in my Pro-Mod if it can perform just as good as this .28 Picco engine. Hmmmm, we just may have to get one and see what we are working with brutha.
