Sirio .21 CL7B STI (09 Edition)
Figured I'd upload some photos of the Sirio CL7B STI 2009 version.
It came with 4 gold shims and 1 silver shim installed with the standard button, but also includes a turbo button. It also comes with the blunt tipped low speed needle pre-installed but they also give you the tapered tip low speed needle. Blunt tip for throttle blipers and tapered tip for the throttle featherers.
Crank is different from the 08 model, to address the crank breaking issue they had although i've seen -alot- of CLB7 i've only seen one broken crank on the 07 model with about 6 gallons already through the motor.
Crank is not stamped this time with the STI logo and serial number and the epoxy in the crank looks like its on a steeper angle.
The ceramic bearings look different also, I haven't compared them side by side, but it looks like the balls in the bearing are smaller and black this time not a grey color.
The sleeve now has the Sirio logo engraved with the serial, same goes for the rod.
When I opened the motor up I was greeted with a well cleaned and oil motor with absolutely no metal flakes or shavings I could find.
Just don't tell anyone I managed to get this motor for 250 brand new in a sealed box. Helps to have friends who have connections over seas and thats with given him a little kick back for getting it.

RE: Sirio .21 CL7B STI (09 Edition)
Gotta love the instruction they send with motors.
I'm trying to figure out why there are 4 gold shims and 1 silver shim.
and if when switching to the turbo button to the shims change?
or if one or more of the shims are their for break-in..?
or if its pre shimed for 30%?
