Default glow plug problems

Hi im having engine problems’ well basically my glow plugs keep blowing? I have no idea why my jba engine has bin fine up till now.
I have just replaced the con rod and its turning over fine so I took it out for a run just now’ I put a band new glow plug in’ it ran great for about 3 minutes at a good running temp and then just stopped’ the plug had gone? I swapped it out and shore enough the same thing happened? I don’t understand what would cores this to happen and could it be related to the new con rod.

how long are you getting them to run? A few tanks, or immediatly?

Has the compression changed on your engine? Are they cold or hot?

I would take it apart again and look for debris... if a little spec of metal or something hits the plug, it will burn out....

Being too lean on the bottom end wont make glow plugs burn out, and wont affect the top end at all. It will mess with your idle.
