HPI 18SS piston retainers
I am trying to source some HPI 1685 piston pin retainers for the 18SS, or an alternative.
The only ones I can locate are in the UK and they are really expensive, I have lost three so far trying to fit them
and need at least one more. The ones for the OS 18 are too big, some other Toki engine around the 12 to 18 size must fit.
Any ideas....

Allllrighttyyy then.......being as no one is willing to accept the " I can help you out" prize, I'll answer it myself.
The retainers from the Traxxas 2.5 or 3.3 fit great, in fact better than the original as they have a little more wire coil to hold onto as they are being fitted, and are
less than a quarter of the price.
