RE: truggy racing engine
That is prolly the worst engine OS has ever made. It cant really even pull a buggy around decent.
I would reccommend these: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXWZA1&P=ML

If you liked the Reedy you should give the JX .21 a try
The Nova 21BF is a good all around engine for the $. It might not have as much power in stock form as engines such as the JX .21, OS speed, JPX .21 etc but its bang and quality for the buck is top notch. It will pull a truggy pretty well especially after some PROPER internal attention

RE: truggy racing engine
On a budget eh? Avoid that OS, itsone of the worst engines ever made! 4 gallons tops!
Novarossi N21b with a dynamite 053 pipe.
RB Junior 9 with a 2045 and long header.
RB Hobby 9/ 2045 plenty of power to move that truggy.
Race engines:
Novarossi +4 for fuel economy, Novarossi FMS for brutal power.

I used to live on Deerwood.. I moved to the Slate Run Road address about 2 years ago. Wasn't a far move as it's only about a half mile up the road. lol

If you get the Mugen you won't need the extra powerful engine and you'll have a truck that lasts longer. The Mugen seems lighter and only needs a .21 to move it around.
The NR 21bf will be plenty. Its not the fastest engine, but it is competitive, and will hold up fine to race mills. Plenty of bottom and thats whats needed on most tracks these days. May lack a little top end, but I don't see too many tracks that need that.
Dyn 053 or a NR 9886 with 41021 header are two pipe combos that are nice to have for NR engines.
Last race with my 808 buggy I never went past 1/2 throttle with this engine and pipe. Good fuel economy running like that.

Yes sir. 783WHP ''wheel Horse Power'' daily driver. Built from ground up If your by the house stop by and id be glad to show it to you. It's been featured on a few websites as a featured car. It can be seen on Sparktechignitions.net Link to that site http://www.sparktechignitions.net/v2h-gadamB.html and AMSPerformance.com ''link'' http://www.amsperformance.com/a_blevins.php which are 2 of my sponsors. The car has come a long way as far as power since the pics were taken for the websites as it was early summer when they were taken, but you can still get an idea of what under the hood looks like etc. The car now has a Precision billet 6262 turbo charger and 1450cc FIC blue max injectors with a staged twin fuel pump system... i also upgraded the FMIC to the AMS race core as well and it now runs on E85 instead of pump gas or C16 fuel. 783WHP is what it pulled with the new setup on E85 and was out of injector. So i will be getting some new injectors for it soon and pushing it over the 800WHP mark!!
