What about this for an R/C car?

I can't hit youtube from work, but I'm guessing its one of the old conley v12s. Awesome aren't they... but not new... Think you can still buy them for around $6k.

@ foxy: No, it's no conley engine, it has been constructed and built by me. For more information, please visit my homepage http://engineman.de or look at youTube, Í've built several radial engines, too.

If this is really the guy who built that then I think you do awesome work. How much did it cost you to build?

First, I had to design the engine. Then it took about 300 hours to build it. Every part, except the carburetors, has been made on my own.

Those minature V8's and V12's are just incredible!! (COngrats to Engineman1, it's beautiful!!)  Ive never seen one actually in an RC car before though.. They're always on a stand, running by themself.. Would love to see one actually in a car, and see it perform!!

Hey, I saw your original vid of the V12 a long while ago when you came out with the engine, great work on the creation it sounds great. Out of curiosity, how come the smallest fueled replicas are only 1/6 scale?

Also what did you use to machine it all? Manual: Press/Lathe? or CNC?

Thanks, Ipredominantly used manual machines, only a few parts were built on a CNC.

Best regards

This engine V-12 was originally made by Martin in Germany. Since then I negotiated the right to CNC machine this engine and his 2 radials Radial- 9 and Radial-14. All engines are now available for sale here in the USA and to all at my web site: WWW.AUTHENTICSCALE.COM
First shipment is delivered by October 15 (2 Radials-14; 3 Radials-9 and 2 V-12). I will be at iHOBBYEXPOin Chicagonext October 21-24 on Booth 2002 (main center aisle). If you wish, come by and see the engines (if allowed, I will run them). Martin will be distributing this engines in Germany also.
