What happens when your g-clip decides to eat your engine
Aah here's the insides of my Mach 427 (teal version) AFTER the g-clip broke and did a boatload of damage... wooho, bummer is its a replacement piston and sleeve with less than half a gallon of break in on it [:@] Sorry if the pics are sorta small, they are taken with my phone, bummer is I don't think I can turn the piston down on a lathe to take the extreme gouging out... [:-]

You may get a new engine under warranty even though you've stripped it down, it's worth a try. If you end up getting a new piston/liner set, which means swapping over the rod and wristpin, then make sure the tangs on the end of the circlips point either straight up or down in the groove.

RE: What happens when your g-clip decides to eat your engine
I had purchased the piston and sleeve seperate so ya, well see. It had a new:
Conrod
Wrist pin
g-clip
piston and sleeve
I got the engine off a member on here for cheap, IF Horizon doesn't decide to replace it I am looking at a smaller engine so I am not sucking fuel down so fast in my truggy [:@] It happens to everyone, just will suck if they decide not to fix it but they got final say in the matter... still waiting on the email guys
