I think RB Concepts makes a V15, but I did not think it was black.

I don't think its a RB Concepts. I've seen pics of those and they look nothing like this. I think this is something older.

Looks like a rotary throttle rather than a slide throttle. Do I see a roto start backplate? Probably an older onroad engine.

RB Concepts make the V12, not a V15. Otherwise it could be a knock-off engine. Makes me think its an old Thundertiger or Kyosho engine.

I was thinking of that too, but Vertex engines dont have the V15 on the side of the case, they're too cheap for that
But it could be an "old model" other than that id say its another one of those knock-off engines like Vertex. Cheap quality, works for a little while, then breaks.

I found out. Its an old Duratrax Velocity V15 engine, the one that came with the GP on road cars they made way back when. Thanks for the input guys.

ahhh, my first nitro motor! I remember taking it out on a prolonged cruise of about 40mph while controling it from my friends real car...I richened it up, but obviously not enough, as the rod snapped and went into the sleeve [X(] Still have all the pieces to this day though. First car/motor summer of 8th grade, which was about 7 years ago.
