The biggest problem with a DA is that it doesn't leave the owner any room for excuses. If your engine runs like crap or blows up, all your buddies will know it was you who screwed things up. On the other hand, if the same thing happens to your 3W, you can just blame it on the 3W factory or distributor......

Ha,Ha,Ha....I think if D.J. sent a memo to all DA owners to drink the kool-aid there would be no more DA's flying at the field.

I think people are only suggested to their opinon if they have run one or the other(or both for that matter), It seemd like almost none of this is based on hard facts and evidence.

every da runs perfect and nearly all 3w's do not-
Such as this, where do you get this? "All Da's Run perfect," there is no such thing.
I also have a wild hare extra that im gonna try the 106QS, and the do require a more careful break-in from what i hear than DA's.

The DA100 is a wonderful engine as there are several at my field, but so are the 3w's.

If 3W's are no good, why do you think that 45% of the TOC competitors fly the 3w 150's?

I will have first hand experience i a litle bit,
David

Well, if you would read the whole thread instead of what you want to you will see where it comes from....

"I have seen every DA run perfect, and nearly all 3w's do not."

This is my opinion, and alot of others from being there and seeing them. Oh, 45% is less than half.[:-]

I didnt know that 45 was less than 50 untill now! Thanks John!

I was getting at that 3w's are used be the pros aswell, and if they were no good i dont think they would use them.
