It can vary depending on what prop you use. Might not be as noticeable on a 30% plane, but I have a half degree shim I must put in my 40% when switching from a 3 blade to a 2 blade prop. Same if going from a shorter 2 blade with more pitch to a larger flatter one.
But 2 1/2 dergrees should be a very good starting point that would require very little adjustment.
