I have to sheet the top/bottom fuse before building the pipes tunnel.

Hi guys
I am doing the holes in the wings for the ailerons servos but there is only 1/4''x1/2'' brasswood included in the kit. I plan to use 2x JR8411/ailerons.

May i use only 2'' long brasswood or should i built servo boxes with plywood for the servos?

Hi Bob
Yes i am going to tune it for Mejzlick 28x18. I have an eye in Advance (IMAC) for 2008 and i need the maxium power i can get for the long vertical uplines/snaps. Like i already said, we need more power for IMAC than 3D. The MTW tuned pipes cost is about the same of the cans without weight penalty but a lot more power and less noise.

The litle syringue was very useful for the sheeting. Not so bad for my first sheeting experience

On the second wing i used a dremel tool to make servos holes and i got better results than hot wire.

Yeah, i meant 28x10.

I would like to have a plane with more than enough power to do all that i want, whatever the condtions hot/cold. Everytime i ask recommendations to engine manufacturer about exausts, they propose ''tuned pipes'' for better throtle response, noise, and power.

Do not underestimate the weight required for sheeting.

Hi Scoubidou

I'm about to start building the same kit. Have not decided engine/exhaust solution yet.
Do you know where your CG ends with the pipes?

I will get that information next week. My plane is covered and i am installing the electronics
From what i have seen, the plane is nose heavy and the tuned pipes will help to balance the CG.
