I'll leave the wings and tail the same but change the fuse a bit.

Looks real good. What do you use for covering and paint on the cowl? It looks like the paint matches toe covering well.

The covering is Ultracote and the paint on the cowl is Dupli Color in a rattle can from the auto parts store. True red Ultracote = Torch red Dupli Color paint

RE: 30% 300 mid wing rebuild
It's finished Three flights on it today all uneventful, that is if you don't count the left elevator control horn loosing a screw. Even with only half of an elevator it flys real nice. Overall weight with the DA50 and 1lb of lead on the nose (still 1/2" back on CG) came in at 17 lbs 6oz. I would say it feels like a brick, but that is because I have been flying a 12lb Extra 260 with the same DA50 setup. I would add another 6oz on the nose to tame the landings, it's too pitch sensitive. My plan is to put a DA85 on the front wich will solve any power/cg issues. I will be a wonderful plane to fly as is for all IMAC but will need more power to kick the thrill up a notch.
