Default The dream has come true

Wanted a Shelby Mustang all my life and I am finally at a place in my life I can make it happen. It's harder to find a nice one of these than I thought it would be.

Thank you! I have been having a blast with it. Had it for three weeks and trying to get it out on nice days. Took it out on a 28 degree day and traction in the first three gears is only a pipe dream.

Thanks Redtail! Having some wheel hope issues. Shelby American makes a LCA relocate kit and Roush makes replacement LCA. Do you have hop issues with yours? Your 428 probably has the Roush fix installed already. Just curious if you had the problem and found a fix.

That was nice of them. I am not going to race mine but 1st and second gear are useless when it's cold out side because of the wheel hop. It's even done it in third a few times. Guess I am going to try the relocation kit from Shelby American. It's the easiest on the pocket book and as I said earlier I am not going to race it so that should cure most of the problem.

Thanks, David

The Shelby is. A auto. But the ROUSH has a 5 speed. I never had wheel hop but I have only tracked the cars on a road course . I'm more into a curvy type track . And not much on the drag strip . Check out team shelby forum there Good guys . and the Shelby Bash in Vegas Its a once a year event

Thanks Jim. I have been to Shelby American in Vegas several times. Their big event is in April and I usually go in May. I have heard there is a Shelby Fest in Missouri this coming May. I have done some reading in the Shelby forums. there are several opinions on curing the wheel hop. Much like talking RC though you never know who knows there stuff and who is blowing smoke lol.
Thanks again for the help! David
