Hi kokamo, I really like it, I think the body style goes well with the look. I have noticed more car type r/c bodys being made for r/c trucks and I like it, after all when you look at it, its not as if you could use a truck body for anything anyway on these type of vehicles so why not have a car body on it. I have wondered for a while what a 74-78 mustang II style body would look like as an offroader.

Since I have got into R/C M/T trucks, it has sparked my interest in fullsize off road. Here is a neat site I like to check out once in a while, check out the weird vehicle section.

you know, I have looked and looked till I was blue in the face looking for a nova body for my HPI SAVAGE. The closest I can find is a Barracuda....or is it a Roadrunner? Not sure. Thanks for the comment! I wish I could take it to shows and events but my work has me on the weekends so thats out the window. I bet almost every other time I take it out ,(mostly weekends) I see people hanging out the window of their car taking pictues of my Nova and waving at me like I know them. I like it when someone comes up to me that I don't know and says "yeah that was me honkin' at ya", they just have no idea that half a dozen people were just honking at me. He he he, thats funny. Another thing I like about it is, the kids just LOVE IT!!! I have all the kids all to one side of a school bus looking at my car as I pass them. It just gets soooo much attention.

BTW....I did get first place for most unique auto in the local car show, fair, and rodeo. HA HA HA!!! Got all the kids to vote for me!!!!

LATER!!!!

Well, I don't know if this was a good or bad comment. I don't quite understand your post.

I NEED PICS OF THOSE CARS!!!!!!!!!! I am collecting pictures of 4x4 cars that have been redone like mine.

Thanks for the comment. This is the only car that I know of thats like it around here. (central Texas) I havent seen another one like it. Well, a car anyway. I dont really like to go muddin' because in this car, it takes about an hour to get the mud off of it. Plus about 10 bucks at the local carwash. (which they don't like)

Thanks!

Joe

I miss my Cobra II[]

Maybe HPI will make a 200mm one so I can run it on my Nitro RS4

Hey do u mind if I use these pictures to make a magazine cover for a computer graphics class. The assignment is to make next months issue cover on a magazine (as if that were my job) and I want to do Super Chevy and was looking for cool Nova pics.
My dad had one and it was cool but he sold it and they shipped it to Australia. Apparently a lot of people there are looking for America muscle cars.[8D]

Sorry, but you ruined the nova and the challenger. 4x4 frames belong under trucks IMO.

The Nova, while a nice looking car and capable of going fast (as long as it didn't have the anemic 250I6 or 283 or 307), is still an economy car, IMO nothing terribly special. He did nothing wrong. It would be like putting a Cavalier on an S10 frame. I'd be more likely to be upset that a perfectly good box-body GM truck got butchered to do this:P But, I'm not.

the Challenger is in the same boat.

Both are freakin awesome!
