Genesis hop-up parts questions
What is upgraded on the GSS10 Heavy Duty CVS (universal swing shafts) + Outdrive?
What is included in this part no.? Are the 23mm hex drives or wheel shaft (upgraded?) included, also is it 2 each?
Are there any pictures of this upgrade?
I am occasionally breaking the E-pins and broke a wheel shaft (GS028) once.
What is the MTM BRAKE SYSTEM (GSS11)? I assume it is metal to metal brake system but can it be used on the original trany case or only the new GSS08?
Thanks

RE: Genesis hop-up parts questions
Hi Genesis Twin!
www.customrccars.com has the most of the upgrades in stock, but not gss10 and 23mm hex, but they have the AL shocks and transmission upgrade
also check http://www.headrushhobbies.com/estor...en%20Hop%20Ups it's cheaper and they have the 23mm in stock

RE: Genesis hop-up parts questions
Thanks jada,
I was looking at both of those sites. That's when I saw the GSS10 and wondered what it is exactly.
We need CEN to answer this, I can't find pics or info on this anywhere.
CEN? CEN? CEN? (to the tune of Buehler? Buehler? Buehler?)

RE: Genesis hop-up parts questions
Yes I really want to know the difference to.
So let's hope CEN reads and answer this.
I want pics on GSS10 and GSS11.
Do you think you have to buy the gss08 then gss11? or do you think it would work with just gss08?
So CEN please help us out.

RE: Genesis hop-up parts questions
The Front/Rear Tranny included all parts required. The MTM brake system is also the complete set. These will bolt right into the current Genesis.
The GSS10 Heavy Duty CVS (universal swing shafts) + Outdrive. This is our lastest enginerred drivetrain for the genesis. These are thicker than the stock one, unbreakable.
The MTM Brake system is the same unit on the Nemesis 7.7 which receive perfect score on the braking performance in the lastest RCCA's review.

RE: Genesis hop-up parts questions
Thanks for the info. I definitely want the brake upgrade. On the swing shafts, can you elaborate on what exactly has been changed and what is included in the part no?
I am confused on what +outdrive is.
Are the wheel shafts and/or 23mm hex included?
Is the wheel shaft still the same dia or larger?
Are the E-pins the same or updated material or dia?
Thanks again- I appreciate you guys being on here.

RE: Genesis hop-up parts questions
Jadda,
I was looking at a break-down of the Nemesis and found that some of the parts inside the center transmission like the top shafts and shift parts have been beefed up. I would guess that the GSS08 would be the Nemesis center transmission with all the new larger parts along with the larger bearings they would require. The GSS11 is just the brake assembly. I would double check but I think thats the difference.

RE: Genesis hop-up parts questions
Thanks RC10GTR.
It sounds reasonable to me and I think you are right here. But I do not think I have to buy one because I haven't had any problems with the center transmission.
any way thanks for the info.
The nemesis is very cool truck I want it
Genesis twin!
Customrccars.com has a pic on GSS010!!
